Domain name and Hosting

We can take care of setting up your domain name and hosting. The domain name is the web address that people type in to go directly to your site, such as www.mynewbusiness.co.uk. The hosting is the place on an internet computer where your website files sit.

You can check out whether a domain name is available by visiting www.whois.domaintools.com and entering your preferred domain name.

We endeavour to find the best deals on the market and look for hosting that includes unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth so that you don't get extra charges when lots of visitors browse your site. At least three email addresses are included in the price.

Our current costs are outlined below and are based on a '.co.uk' or '.com' domain name.

Domain name and hosting for a *simple HTML website : £20 per year

Domain name and hosting for a website that is updateable by the client : £50 per year

It is more expensive to host an updateable website because a database is required.

* A simple HTML website is one were the pages do not need to be regularly updated by the client. The pages can be changed by us at Eyemyweb, charges would be made for the time taken to implement the requested changes.
